Kinlochbervie
Kinlochbervie is a fishing village in the north west of Sutherland, in the Scottish Highlands. The population is currently around 480 and most of the economy is based on the fishing industry.
A fleet of deep sea fishing boats use Kinlochbervie Harbour to land their catch. Fish are sold wholesale at the port’s auction market most week days. A pontoon is available there for visiting yachts and pleasure craft.
There are a number of fresh water lochs available to fish in Kinlochbervie and the surrounding area. Angling equipment and fishing tackle can be bought at the ship chandlers on the harbour.

There are some beautiful and secluded beaches near Kinlochbervie. Just 5 mins drive west will take you to Oldshoremore Beach, and a further 5 mins drive will take you to the beginning of the track that leads to Sandwood Bay.
